While it’s probably a long shot to get her to immediatly start playing World of Warcraft with you, exposing her to something casual is a great stepping stone. For starters, I recommend the Nintendo DS or the Nintendo Wii.
What she’ll get:
-Most importantly, quality time with you. Giving this gift alone probably won’t get her to start playing. The key is to play with her and enjoy the experience and time together.
-A cute and cool electronic device.
-Games that are casual enough that she won’t have to put in hourly sessions. i.e. Sudoku Gridmaster, Brain Age, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart…
-Exposure to competition, role playing, clever gameplay, etc. Everything we have grown to love about our games.
